    A doula is not a medical provider and does not perform clinical tasks such as diagnosing conditions, delivering babies, prescribing medication, or making medical decisions. The focus is on emotional, physical, and informational support alongside your medical team.

  • Prenatal care focuses on informed, calm, and personalized preparation. This may include birth education, comfort measures, birth planning support, and emotional preparation so you feel confident and supported entering labour.

    As a new client, you will gain access to the Client Portal, where you will find a detailed package outlining our prenatal visits, as well as resources and guides to support you throughout birth preparation and postpartum.

  • Natural Rhythm Doula Care provides in-person support throughout Hamilton, Burlington and the Niagara Region. Virtual support may also be available depending on your needs and stage of care.

    Support may extend to surrounding communities depending on location and availability. It’s best to inquire directly about your specific area.

  • Absolutely. Support is available for home births and hospital births.. Care is centred on your preferences, birth plan, and evolving needs throughout labour and delivery.

  • Each postpartum support package is tailored to your family’s needs during the early postpartum period. This may include emotional support, newborn care guidance, feeding support, recovery care, and practical household help.

    Often, families just need some rest! Overnight postpartum packages are available and can be customized based on your anticipated needs - more details can be found here or feel free to reach out and we can discuss in more detail.

  • You can hire a doula at any stage of pregnancy, but many families book between the second and early third trimester to ensure availability and allow time for prenatal preparation.

    Client intake is intentionally limited to ensure each family receives consistent, personalized, and attentive support throughout their care journey. It’s best to reach out as early as possible to confirm availability around your estimated due date.

  • We’ll meet either virtually or in-person and have a relaxed conversation discussing your pregnancy, preferences, and the kind of support you’re looking for.

    There is no obligation to book - hiring a doula is a deeply personal decision. It is important that you choose a support team that feels aligned with your values, and the kind of care you want to receive.

    At this time, I am offering a founding member rate of 50% off as I complete my certification and continue building my practice. This reduced rate is intended to make care more accessible while also supporting my professional development.

    In some cases, flexibility may be available depending on individual circumstances, and I am open to respectful conversations around accessibility. My goal is to find a balance that allows families to receive the support they need while ensuring sustainable, high-quality care.
